GS Desk : enhance in IO / PO Honorarium

DoPT has released consolidated orders on rates of honorarium to IOs/POs for departmental inquiries on 31/07/2012. The revised rates are : IOs (Serving)  -  Min. Rs 5000  Max  Rs. 10,000,  POs(Serving)  -  Min Rs. 5000  & Max - Rs. 10,000 and are effective from 31/07/2012 applicable to the inquiries in progress also.  The payment is subject to terms and conditions laid down.

The number of disciplinary cases are to be restricted to 10 in a year and not not more than 2 at a time.

 Respected Madam,  

                                This Association would like to bring to your kind notice that Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions (Department of Personnel and Training) vide OM No. 142/15/2010-AVD-I dated 31^st July, 2012 has revised the rates of honorarium and other allowances payable to Inquiry Officers (IOs) and Presenting Officers (POs). The said OM has already been circulated by DOPT to all Ministries and Departments.  

It is therefore requested to kindly arrange to circulate the above referred DOPT Office Memorandum to all Circles and Regions immediately under intimation to this Association.
