Subject: Change in the date of Holiday on the occasion of Muharram -reg.

The Holiday on the occasion of Muharram was listed on Thursday the 14th November, 2013 side Annexure I of this Department's O.M. No 12/4/2012-JCA-2 dated 5th June, 2012. This was dependent on sighting of the Moon. It has now been decided that for offices in Delhi / New Delhi, the Holiday on the occasion of Muharram will now be on Friday, the 15th November, 2013 and all Central Government Administrative offices located in Delhi / New Delhi shall remain closed on account of Muharram on 15th November, 2013.

            The following are the subjects to be discussed in the proposed Bi-monthly meeting to be     held on 25-11-2013.

            Pending Subjects 

1.                  Request to fill up the post of Mail overseers with willing officials:- At present majority of the Sub divisional works are in Technology based. Therefore the assistance in the form of Mail oversees to Sub divisions should also be a capable person in Technology. If seniors in Postmen cadre are posted on compulsion the Sub divisional heads cannot extract work in the present scenario. As such it is most kindly requested to fill up the post of Mail overseers with willing officials ignoring the seniority.

2.                  Request to allot adequate fund for Passing of TA bills in respect of IP/ASP in Western Regions: - IP/ASP TA bills are pending for allotment of funds.  It is kindly requested that sufficient funds may be allotted for passing of TA bills.

3.                  Request to fill up the vacant Sub Divisions:- At present the Sub divisions are overloaded with various new types of work and the Sub Divisional heads find it very difficult in managing their own Sub Division. In this circumstance if any other Sub divisional work is combined the Sub Divisional Heads become restless and the quality of work also become poor. As such it is most kindly requested to fill up the vacant Sub Divisions immediately.

           

            New Subject

           

                  Request to pass the TA blls of IP/ASP in the revised mileage rate    

                

1.                   The road mileage rate has been revised by the State Government authorities from Rs 8/-     to Rs 12/- considering the hike in fuel prices. Therefore it is requested to pass the          TA bills of IP/ASPs in the revised rate uniformly in all divisions

Pending subject

1.           Request for early passing of IO/PO honorarium bills of IP/ASP

            At present the IO/PO honorarium bills submitted by IP/ASPs are pending in RO for more than a year. So it is most kindly requested to pass these bills early in the revised rate.

New subject

1.             Request to filling up the IP/ASP posts of vacant Subdivisions

            At present the vacant IP/ASP subdivision work is combined with other subdivision; which becomes an additional burden to the sub divisional head and they are not able to achieve their target in both the Sub divisions. As the year end is very close and the marketing of the essential items are peak in the forth coming months it is very difficult to manage two sub divisions even by an efficient official. Therefore it is requested to fill up the vacant sub divisions with willing IP/ASPOs considering their transfer request.
