New Delhi. the 8th September. 2014

G.S.R. 638(E).—ln exercise of the powers conferred by sub-secrion (1) read with clause (k) and clause (1) of sub section (2) of Section 59 read with Section 44 and Section 45 of the Lokpal and Lokayuktas Act. 2013 (1 of 2014), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Public Servants (Furnishing of Information and Annual Return of Assets and Liabilities and the Limits for Exemption of Assets in Filing Returns) Rules. 2014. namely:—

I. (I) These rules may he called the Public Servants (Furnishing of Information and Annual Return of Assets and Liabilities and the Limits for Exemption of Assets in Filing Returns) Amendment Rules, 2014.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. In the Public Servants (Furnishing of Information and Annual Return of Assets and Liabilities and the Limits for Exemption of Assets in Filing Returns) Rules, 2014. in rule 3. in the proviso to sub-rule (2), for the words on or before the 15th day of September, 2014’, the words “on or before the 31st day of December. 2014 shall he substituted.

Sub: Conducting of Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion to the cadre of Inspector Posts (66.66%) Departmental quota for the year 2014 to be held on 20th and 21st September, 2014 and LGO Examination, 2014 proposed to be held on 21st September, 2014.

Sir/Madam,

I am directed to refer this office letter No. A-34012/03/2014-DE and A-34012/04/2014-DE dated 3^rd June, 2014 wherein the notifications for holding Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of LGO to the cadre of PA/SA for the year 2014 to be held on 21^st September, 2014 and LDCE for promotion to the cadre of Inspector posts for the year 2014 on 20^th and 21^st September, 2014 were issued.

2. The Outsourced Agency, M/s CMC Ltd. has intimated that conduct of the above mentioned examination on the scheduled dates is not feasible. Therefore, the Competent Authority has ordered to postpone both the departmental examinations. The revised dates would be intimated shortly.

3. This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.

Ramanashram Date Stamp release by PMG, CCR

Musicians Stamp release at Chennai
Pattammal, 7 other musicians to smile from postal covers
CHENNAI: Music lovers and philately enthusiasts can soon buy stamps featuring eight legendary musicians, including D K Pattammal. Postmaster general Merwin Alexander said the stamps will be released on September 3 by India Post in association with Brahma Gana Sabha. The stamps will be up for sale from September 4 at Anna Road head post office and post offices across the state. The other musicians in whose memory the stamps have been launched are sarod maestro Ali Akbar Khan, sitarists Pandit Ravi Shankar and Ustad Vilayat Khan, and vocalists Bhimsen Joshi, Mallikarjun Mansur, Kumar Gandharva and Gangubai Hangal. Alexander said, "There have been many who have nurtured Indian classical music and made its presence felt across the country and abroad. India Post is paying tribute to such artists by releasing eight stamps in their memory." He said music lovers from all walks of life, philately enthusiasts and the public in general are welcome to attend the event.
