DA news

Additional DA from 1.1.2012, Cabinet likely to approve tomorrow (22.03.12)...

We expected the same that didn’t happen last week, but this Thursday Cabinet may approve 7% additional Dearness allowance from 1.1.2012 for Central Government staff and pensioners.

Normally, the decision on announcing DA to the central government employees was to take place on the 2nd week of March and September every year. But this procedure was being postponed for various reasons. Last year, the announcement of DA from July 2011 was also postponed. The decision on the additional DA from March 2012 is expected to be finalized on 22.03.2012 at the Cabinet meeting scheduled on that day.  

As of now, an increase of 7% is expected which will raise the DA from 58% to 65%. As usual, the DA for March will be paid in April and the arrears for the other two months will be paid separately.

6CPC - 1 time increment between Feb & Jun 2006

One time increment order [between Feb and June'06] may be issued soon

The order for Granting one increment to the Central Government Employees may be issued in the first week of March 2012.
Sources close to the DOP&T informed that the issue of granting one increment to the government servants, whose increment date falls between February 2006 and June 2006, has been forwarded to Finance Ministry for its approval. According to the sources, the Finance Ministry gave its approval to this proposal as agreed by the Government in the National Anomaly Committee.

The Federations representing National Anomaly Committee approached the Government to issue the order very soon, since the decision of granting one increment to the govt servants was taken in the National Anomaly Committee on 5th January 2012. It is believed that the federations were informed that due to the ongoing Elections for state assemblies in some states, issuing order is delayed. As per the Election Schedule the elections for state assemblies for 5 States are commenced on 28-1-2012, and the 6th phase of U.P and Goa State assembly elections will be completed by 03-03-2012. So, keeping in view of the above, we can expect that the order for Granting one increment to the Central Government Employees may be issued in the first week of March 2012.

According to the decision which is agreed by government in National Anomaly Committee, the govt servants will be granted one increment in the pre revised 5 CPC scale on 01-01-2006, and then it will be multiplied by 1.86 and the pay in the Pay Band in the 6 CPC will be fixed accordingly

சென்னை : நாடு தழுவிய அளவில் இன்று நடைபெறும் பொது வேலை நிறுத்தத்தால், அஞ்சல் அலுவலக பணிகளும் முடங்கும் அபாயம் ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது. புதிய ஓய்வூதிய திட்டம், தனியார்மயம் உள்ளிட்ட, மத்திய அரசின் நடவடிக்கைகளை கண்டித்து, பல்வேறு தொழிற்சங்கங்கள், இன்று நாடு தழுவிய பொது வேலை நிறுத்தத்திற்கு அழைப்பு விடுத்துள்ளன. இவ்வேலை நிறுத்தத்தில், தபால் துறையின், அகில இந்திய அஞ்சல் ஊழியர்கள் சங்கம், தேசிய அஞ்சல் ஊழியர்கள் சங்கம் ஆகியவையும் பங்கேற்கின்றன.

இதுகுறித்து, அகில இந்திய அஞ்சல் ஊழியர்கள் சங்க உறுப்பினர் சுந்தரமூர்த்தி கூறும் போது, ""இச்சங்கங்களில், நாடு முழுவதும் 4.5 லட்சம் ஊழியர்களும், தமிழகத்தில் 60 ஆயிரத்திற்கு மேற்பட்ட ஊழியர்களும் உறுப்பினர்களாக உள்ளனர். இவர்கள் அனைவரும் வேலைநிறுத்தத்தில் பங்கேற்பதால் இன்று, தமிழகம் முழுவதும் உள்ள தபால் நிலையங்களில், தபால் பட்டுவாடா, அஞ்சல் தலைகள் விற்பனை, விரைவு தபால் பதிவு உள்ளிட்ட முக்கிய பணிகள் பாதிக்கப்படும்,'' என்றார்.

“This Association is against the merger of Inspector Posts and Assistant Superintendents Posts Cadre. Inspector Posts should be granted Grade Pay of Rs. 4600/- with effect from 01/01/2006 at par with Inspectors of CBDT / CBEC in tune with directions of the Hon’ble CAT, Ernakulam Bench”.

In view of the above resolution, it is requested that action may please be taken to implement the orders of Hon’ble CAT, Ernakulam Bench to upgrade the grade pay of Inspector Posts from Rs. 4200/- to Rs. 4600/- with effect from 1.1.2006.

Minutes of 37th All India Conference held at Bangaluru on 28th & 29th January 2012

The 37^th All India Biennial Conference of our Association was held at Bangaluru on 28^th and 29^thJanuary, 2012. Out of 22 circles, 234 delegates from 19 circles attended and actively participated in the deliberations. There was no representation from Assam, J & K and Himachal Pradesh circle branches.

Deliberations on following issues have been taken place and approved by the august house.

1.   Confirmation of the minutes of Biennial Conference of the Association held at New Delhi on 3^rdand 4^th April 2010.

Increase in IT exemption limit

புதுடில்லி : வருமான வரி விலக்கு வரம்பை, 2 லட்சம் ரூபாயாக உயர்த்த, மத்திய அரசு பரிசீலித்து வருகிறது. இது தொடர்பான அறிவிப்பு பட்ஜெட்டில் வெளியாகிறது. 

வருமான வரி விலக்கு வரம்பு தற்போது, ரூ.1.8 லட்சமாக உள்ளது. இதை, 2 லட்சம் ரூபாயாக உயர்த்த வேண்டும் என, பார்லிமென்டரி நிலைக்குழு பரிந்துரை செய்தது. அத்துடன் 10 லட்சம் ரூபாய்க்கு மேலான வருமானத்திற்கு மட்டுமே, 30 சதவீத வருமான வரி விதிக்கலாம் என்றும் கூறியது. தற்போது 8 லட்சம் ரூபாய்க்கு மேலான வருமானத்திற்கு, 30 சதவீத வருமான வரி விதிக்கப்படுகிறது.

இதேபோல், இந்திய தொழில்கள் சம்மேளனத்தின் இயக்குனர் ஜெனரல் சந்திரஜித் பானர்ஜியும், "தனி நபர் வருமான வரி விலக்கு வரம்பை 2 லட்சம் ரூபாயாக உயர்த்த வேண்டும். ரூ.2.5 லட்சம் முதல் 6 லட்சம் ரூபாய் வரையிலான வருமானத்திற்கு 10 சதவீதமும், 10 லட்சம் ரூபாய் வரையிலான வருமானத்திற்கு 20 சதவீதமும், 10 லட்சம் ரூபாய்க்கு மேலான வருமானத்திற்கு 30 சதவீதமும் வரி விதிக்க வேண்டும். பணவீக்கம் அதிகரித்துள்ளதைத் தவிர்க்க, இதைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்' என, பரிந்துரை செய்திருப்பதாகக் கூறினார்.

இவற்றை மத்திய அரசு தீவிரமாகப் பரிசீலித்து வருகிறது. அதனால், வருமான வரி விலக்கு வரம்பு, அதிகரிப்பு மற்றும் வருமான வரி வீதங்களில் மாற்றம் போன்றவை தொடர்பான அறிவிப்புகள் பட்ஜெட்டில் வெளியாகலாம்.
