Respected Madam,

Sub :    Request to cancel the massive transfer orders
ssued to the ASPs by the PMG in Central Region - reg

Ref :     PMG, CR memo No. STA/101-07/2011/TR dated 30.09.2011.

1.         The IP/ASP is the cadre which works hard without any time frame, even in Sundays and Holidays also, for the uplift of our Department. We are the people through whom our Departmental policies are being implemented, in a successful manner. We are the middle level managers who maintain the goodwill of the Department among the members of the public. Hence we are appreciated by the Administration as “back bone” of our Department.

2.         This Association conveys its heartfelt thanks to our benign CPMG Madam for having issued adhoc promotions to the IPs in Tamil Nadu Circle. But in Central Region, the place of postings for IPs into adhoc ASPs was handled by the PMG, Central Region in a different manner which totally affected many of our ASPs. Recently massive transfer orders have been issued to eight ASPs by the PMG, Central Region - in the interest of service - along with adhoc postings. This transfer is issued in the middle of the academic year. Many of the ASPs who are in the list of transfer have not completed their tenure in the station where they are working. Due to sudden receipt of this kind of transfer, the follow up of BD activities, investigations were incomplete and it may not be practically possible for a new incumbent to continue them. This will definitely affect the targets assigned to the Divisions/Regions/Circle in BD & investigation.

3.           In addition, educations of the wards of the ASPs are miserably affected. Their entire family members are put into much mental strain and their families are totally dislocated. While we are taking all out efforts to achieve the target of 100 days, as prescribed by the Madam Chief PMG, this transfer issued by the PMG, Tiruchi hurt our members.

4.           It is evident that the central Region ranks first in achieving the targets even in All India level, every year, which is possible only by the strenuous efforts of our members. In these circumstances, the massive transfer ordered in central Region does not recognize their services, but only bring displeasure among the sincere and hard working members.

5.         Hence this Association kindly request the benign Chief PMG Madam to cancel the massive transfer orders issued by the PMG, Central Region vide letter cited under reference above. Further this Association requests the benign Madam to consider the requests of the IPs who have been ordered adhoc promotions and fresh adhoc posting orders may be issued to them to render better service.

With regards.

/S. RAJENDRA BABU/
Circle Secretary, AIAIPASP,
Tamil Nadu Circle.
