Strike Comments - Part I

01. Shri. P.Karunanithy, ASP, Madurai North Sub Dn :
Dear comrades,
1.    There are long pending unsettled problems such as enhancement of Grade Pay to the Inspector of Posts.
2.    During the  past, our grievances are unheard and  the proper response is not given to our cadre. It is the right time to make the Government to think of our cadre.
3.    Young IPs are in the opinion that no agitational programme has been taken  to achieve the enhancement of Grade Pay.
4.    Even though there are different opinions regarding participation in the strike, many forefront members will participate in the strike. There is nothing loss except pay of one day. Let us register our protest during the time of strike.
5.    Hence it is requested to issue strike notice consolidating all pending issues.

02. Shri. Suresh (details not mentioned) :
Dear Sir, Please answer and if ur answer have so many yes, Please go ahead otherwise don’t.
1)Is it the opt time to join with Gr C and GDS general strike held on 5th July?
2)If u go on strike , what will be the loss to department?
3) Will your strike period affects any declination in Business?
4) Will your absence affect RPLI business?
5) Imagine, the DOP settled all demands put forth by JCA except IP/ASP demands. Will the JCA stubborn to continue the strike till our demands settled?
6) Will ur absence affects any customer service?
7)Will all the loyal IPs/ASPs ready to join this strike? Our main demand is revision of IP's grade pay? We yet to be get the consensus on this issue with our ASPs . Then how could you take this as a demand? If we go with July 5 th strike, it is nothing but one who tied all his hands and legs and jumped in to the big well. Thanks for our association for their different thinking.

03. Shri. T.S.RAGHUNATH, ASP TIRUNELVELI SUB DIVISION :
There are mixed opinions. Few of our members want to use this Strike to ventilate our demands, though we do not agitate at any point of time. But it is my opinion that STRIKE WILL ONLY DETERIORATE OUR SITUATION.Better we will remain at HQ and do our duty- - Our moral support to the striking Unions is only a eyewash and we have no comments on the demands of our Unions - STAY OUT OF STRIKE AND DO OUR DUTY
Stay back from the Strike Process- Have alternate channels to settle our demands. Strike will lead us to frustration further, since we will be the affected most. Moral support to demands of other unions is also found to be premature. Better to do our duty as per law and get unaffected.

Further views are Welcome.
