Mahamagam usually celebrating once in 12 years. And this year 22.2.2016 at Kumbakonam. This festival happens in Cauvery river bank hence it is called Maha Kumbamela. Mahamaga pond consists of 20 theerthas. This is treating as a part of Amudh.
India Post is also taking part of this festival by joining hands with Hindu Endowment Department.
