It is learnt that there is no progress in respect of issue of notification to conduct LDCE for the promotion to the cadre of PS Gr. B for the year 2013 and also for 2014.

41st Biennial Circle Conference - Update

41st Biennial Circle Conference

          It is proposed to conduct the 41st Biennial Circle conference of our AIAIPASP Tamilnadu Circle at Tiruchendur on 21st and 22nd August – 2014. This Circle Conference is conducted in a new scenario of new Government and new CPMG. Our CPMG has directed me to convey the message of ensuring full cooperation from all IPs/ASPs to the Administration during the last four monthly meeting. I have also fully agreed with our CPMG’s message and therefore I request all our members to extend full cooperation in all area for the real growth of the department forgetting the difference of opinion with very few officers. 

         In conducting the conference also I request the cooperation of all our members supporting the Association both financially and personal attendance in the deliberation for conducting the conference successfully.

Kavery Banerjee is new Secretary at Department of Posts

The government today approved Ms Kavery Banerjee as Secretary of Department of Posts following retirement of Ms P Gopinath on May 31. 

"The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Ms Kavery Banerjee, IPoS (Indian Postal Services-78), as Secretary, Department of Posts, Chairperson, Postal Services Board and Director General, Postal Services," an official statement said. 

Obituary : Sudden death of Shri. M. Sebastian, ASP (VIG), O/o PMG Central Region, TamilNadu Circle

Dear Sir,

Shri. M. Sebastian, ASP (VIG) R.O , Central Region (TN), Tiruchirappalli has suffered giddiness and fainted in the office today, at about 13:00 hours on 02.06.2014. 

He was immediately rushed to the hospital and admitted for treatment. The Hospital authorities viz. Kavery Heart City Cantonment branch have informed that he has expired at 15:30 hours on 02.06.2014.

It is requested that Obituary for him may be published in your blog.

May his soul rest in peace.
