Definition of Family : The Parents / Step Parents wholly dependent on GS included as Family.
Rule 8 of LTC : Fresh Recruits are allowed to travel with family to their Home Town on 3 occassions and All India on 4th occassion. All other provisions concernign frequency are retained.
Rule 12 Entitlement : Same as Official tour / transfer / LTC but no Daily Allowance on LTC.
Encashment of EL : 10 days EL on LTC upto 60 days during entire career. The leave encashed will not be deducted from the Max amount of EL at the time of retirement.
