Yesterday DoPT announced the relaxation to LTC Rules. All Govt Servants now can fly to NER, Jammu & Kashmir and Andaman on surrendering of Home Town LTC.
Highlights :
Andaman is newly added after little bit gap.
Period - 2 years from 26.9.2014.
Fresh recruits are also eligible.
GS entitled in Air can travel from their HQrs.
GS not entitled can travel from
a. Between Kolkatta / Guwahati and any place in NER.
b. Between Kolkatta / Chennai / Bhubaneswar and Port Blair.
c. Between Delhi / Amritsar and any place in J & K.
Fare restricted to Air India LTC 80 Fare.
