Respected
Madam,
Sub:Bi-monthly
union meeting with PMG, Southern Region Madurai to be held on 04-04-2014- reg
Ref
: PMG SR letter No SR/17-3/2014/MA dated at
Madurai the 11-03-2014
The
following are the subjects to be discussed in the proposed Bi-monthly meeting
to be held on 04-04-2014
1.
Request to
allot sufficient funds for payment of RPLI/PLI incentives to the staff :-
The
prime motivation to the front end work force in marketing and achieving their
target in insurance is the payment of incentives in time. Though the PLI
incentive is generated automatically, it is not achieved in respect of RPLI
business due to some technical problem. But both the incentive payments are
pending due to funds constraints which adversely affect the business. As such
this Association most kindly request the Postmaster General to arrange for automatic
generation of incentive to RPLI and allot sufficient funds for effecting early payment
of both RPLI and PLI incentives.
2.
Grant of
child care leave to IP/ASP cadre mothers par with other cadre:-
Women employees working in IP/ASP
cadre are finding very difficult in getting their legitimate leave in the
financial year end due to their importance in achieving the targets fixed to
their Sub Divisions. Their presence is also required to their children during
examination and important event of their children’s life as in the case of
other employees. Government of India has provided Child Care Leave equally to
all the working women in Government organization. But to our surprise women
IP/ASP are totally neglected in granting this leave on the plea of their
target. Therefore this Association most kindly request the Postmaster General
to intervene and grant CCL liberally to IP/ASP cadre also par with other cadre.
3.
Request to increase the speed
of SIFY net connection provided to Sub Divisions:-
Recently the Sub divisions are
switched over to SIFY network connections and the Sub Divisional head’s are
finding very difficult in getting the permitted site to check the mails and
submit their report. Even they are not able to down load a form from India Post
Web site. Hence this Association most kindly requests the Postmaster General to
make arrangement to increase the speed of SIFY net connection for smooth
working in this net work.
The
following members of our Association will attend the proposed Bi-monthly
meeting to be held on 04-04-2014. It is kindly requested to make necessary
relief arrangements to them.

Lady IPs are denied of CCL not only in Postal Divisions but in RMS Divisions also. Due to acute shortage of IPs/ASPs in the Division, I was denied CCL during this March'2014 even when my children were in 10th and 12th (CBSE) respectively. But the most hurting fact was that- one of office bearers of ASP/IP association questioning the need of CCL to lady staff... Atleast consideration should be given to those lady staff who happen to manage their family and children alone due to their family circumstance...

In the case of CCL to IP/ASPcadre mothers, atleast mothers who happen to manage their family/children alone should atleast be considered.
