Sub: Posting on promotion in Junior Time Scale of Indian Postal Service Group ‘A’

The President is pleased to appoint the following officers of Postal Service Group ‘B’ to officiate on regular basis in the Junior Time Scale of Indian Postal Service Group ‘A’ (IPoS Group ‘A’) in the Pay Band -3 : Rs 15600 – 39100 + GP 5400/- with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until further orders.

2. The officers on promotion to JTS are posted to the circle mentioned against each:

5. Officers allotted out of their parent circle
The circles of allotment will immediately issue posting orders and in any case not later than 05.08.2009. In case of any difficulty in issue of posting orders, the matter should be brought to the notice of Dte. immediately. The present circles of such officers, who have been posted to another circle on promotion, will immediately relieve the officer on receipt of posting orders, unless they submit unconditional declination. The CPMsG of the circle of allotment /present circles will personally ensure issue of posting orders by the due date and immediate relief of the officers. Despite issuance of posting orders, if any officer does not join within one month from the date of issue of posting orders, it will be presumed that he /she has declined the promotion and this should be brought to the notice of this office immediately. If any of the officers mentioned above is not working in the circle mentioned against his/her name due to any reason, this should be brought to the notice of this office.

6. No representation regarding re-allotment from any of the officers will be entertained in any case unless he/she joins the promotional post and the request for re-allotment is recommended by the concerned Head of Circle.
