News from GS desk : Dear friends,Clarification dated 13.9.2008 on fixation of pay has been received from Finance Ministry. The same is attached. According to Clarification No.6, pay of IP/ASP has to be replaced in the upgraded pay scale in accordance with fitment table (S-12 & S-13) annexed to OM dated 30.8.2008.Regarding Grade Pay for IP, it is being taken up with the Dept. Every anomaly will be settled. There is no need for panic.The Central Working Committee will be held at Kanchipuram (near Chennai)on 4th and 5th October 2008. Any Member can send their suggestions for higher pay scale, grade pay etc. to me for discussion in the CWC. Please note that your sugesstion should contain full justification for your demand.Anybody can come and participate in the CWC.S.Samuel, General Secretary
