Our Minister Function @ Coimbatore
India Post is proudly to launch the follg Services at Coimbatore on 24.10.09 by Our Hon'ble Minister Shri.A.Raja.
01. MO VIDESH EURO GIRO : Normally v r receiving MOs from Foreign Countries but NO Outward MO Service. This is the FIRST service by India Post (except Nepal & Bhutan)to Outware Foreign MO Service. Intially it is introduced in 800 HOs & subsequently extended to 8000 POs across India.
02. Flat Rate Boxes : This is for sending Intl Parcels.
03. Award ceremoney of Project Arrow Offices.

GDS Strike deferred
The JCA met on 05.10.09 reviewed the situation on the background of the announcement of the Cabinet decision on GDS proposals by the Hon'ble MoC thro TV and decided to defer the proposed indefinite strike form 07.10.2009. Further action will be taken after reviewing Report.
